It wasn't until he got to Purgatorium that Hallelujah realized that, hey, he actually appreciated art. Not in the traditional way, of course, but in his own way. The rest of the city (unfortunately) realized this from his series of stick figure paintings, showing that even if he wasn't exactly talented in the field, he still enjoyed it anyway.

It was a secret only known to his other half and Lockon that he actually could draw a lot better than that, but he'd never let anyone know. Drawing well was a girly thing. He was happy for Purgatorium to believe he was horrible at it.

This time, however, he had decided to put his slight skills to use. Road, who he had unofficially adopted as one of his new little sisters, had suggested that they go out and paint the walls of building with monster blood. This was a two-fold activity that both girl and man appreciated: the slaughtering of monsters and collecting of the painting materials, and the painting itself. The two of them had spent a good few hours from morning until early afternoon combing the streets, taking down whatever they could. The bigger the monster, the better. It wasn't too different from Hallelujah's current job in helping out with Threat Mitigation, but a little slower, as they'd have to take the time to collect the blood from each creature. The two of them took visible delight in their slaughtering of the monsters, happily joking and laughing throughout the entire thing, as if they were playing ball or something instead of killing things. There were matching maniacal grins and laughs on both their faces, and an outsider might have even wondered if they were related.

They had collected buckets of the red liquid before they decided it was enough, not sure on how many things they were going to paint. Road decided to start off by testing to see if the blood stuck on the walls correctly, grabbing a makeshift brush made from some monster or other's tail and writing a huge (as huge as she could with her height being as such, anyway) "Fuck you, Purgatorium!" on the side of the building. It stayed there, visible and bright, and both her and Hallelujah grinned. Success.

From building to building they went, whether occupied or vacant, writing messages, obscenities, drawing crude stick figures or more sophisticated drawings that were...still pretty crude. They laughed all the way, not caring if they were spotted. They figured that if someone saw them, hey, if you saw two psychopaths covered in blood and carrying weapons, would you want to yell at them?

The last building they ended up at was Celestial Being headquarters. Road was ready to write some choice insults and curses at the residents and workers of it, but Hallelujah waved her off when she tried, saying that he'd be the one having to deal with all the bitching that came from it. He looked at the blank wall for a while before picking up a brush and starting to paint.

Road watched curiously as he worked on something that eventually started to come together as some sort of space ship. Hallelujah was quiet as he drew, a sharp contrast from before, concentrating in a way that all his other drawings of the day didn't need. Bored with just watching, she decided to jump in with details, painting stars around it and drawing a little Earth in the background.

"What's that, Halle~?" she asked when they finally finished, both of them stepping back to admire their handiwork. Hallelujah stood there for several moments before answering.

"Home." He shrugged, kicked the now empty buckets aside, and motioned for her to follow him. A trip to the bathhouse was definitely in order.

The other members of Celestial Being were surprised to see the painting of the Ptolemaios on the wall of their building the next day. Realizing who the only person around that drew in blood was, they questioned Hallelujah, but he never said a word.

At least the rest of the city was focusing on the other "paintings" he and Road did, and the two of them could just have fun now laughing at all the yelling over the networks by people who had gotten their houses and businesses vandalized.

It'd have to be a weekly get-together, they decided.
