Title: Snow
Fandom: RP I forget the name of, Gundam 00
Pairing: Lockon/Allelujah
Rating: G
Notes: I was in an RP once where your characters were transformed into Pokemon, all Mystery Dungeon-esque. Lockon was a Mudkip. Allelujah was a Pikachu. Just roll with it.

Allelujah woke to find himself covered with a thin layer of snow. He got up and quickly shook, the powdery substance flying off of his yellow fur. Since when was it supposed to snow? Sure, he and Lockon had been climbing a mountain in search of treasure, but even so... His paws moved to Lockon's side, and he pushed lightly, trying to wake him up.

"Lockon. Lockon, c'mon, wake up before you freeze to death here." When he felt the Mudkip begin to stir, his hands moved to wipe as much snow as he could off of him. "Stop being so lazy!"

Lockon yawned widely as he finally woke up, pushing himself to a standing position. He blinked as he noticed the change in the scenery. "Huh. That's interesting," he murmured as he glanced over what had just been a dirt and grass covered area the night previous. Just as Allelujah had, he shook his body to get what remaining snow he could off of him, though it didn't feel as cold or as bad as he figured it would have on his human body.

The snow was still falling lightly, and both were silent as they took in the scenery, the level of the mountain they had curled up and slept on blanketed in white. It was barely recognizable, and Allelujah took some moments to scan for where they had come from, where they were going, keeping the important points in mind so that they wouldn't get lost.

"I think if we go—hey!" Allelujah was cut off by a bit of snow kicked up at his face, turning to glance at Lockon, slightly annoyed. "What was that for?"

Lockon shrugged (as best he could, anyway). "Since I can't make snowballs in this body, I need to hit you with it somehow."

The younger of the two just stared at him. Looked at him, down at the snow, back at him, back at the snow. Leaning down, he scooped up a little of the snow, realizing that although it would barely be counted as a snowball, it would be enough.

Lockon didn't expect retaliation, and yelped when the snowball hit the side of his head. But Allelujah couldn't revel in his victory for long, because he was tackled down by the Mudkip only moments later.

Like they did so often, the two wrestled around on the ground, something that was somewhere between training and play. It had the added effect of keeping their blood going to stay warm in the freezing weather, but more than anything, it was, well, fun. The two kept at it for a good half hour before the temperature started to really get to them, and retreated to find a cave to use as shelter until the snow stopped.

"Do you think we'd be like this if we were humans again?"

Lockon picked his head up to try to look at the Pikachu curled up against him, shifting them both a little closer to the fire when he felt him shiver. "What do you mean, Allelujah?"

Allelujah watched the fire a little more, gaze half lidded, before he finally closed his eyes and murmured sleepily. "Playing in the snow, rolling around...curling up together next to the fire. Would we be doing the same thing as we're doing now, if we were in our human bodies?"

"...Yeah, I think so," Lockon answered in return. The question made him want to give Allelujah a hug, but even that was hard in his current form, so he just pressed against the warmer body a little more. "Yeah. We definitely would. I'd drag you off when we had a break from work, and shove you in a snow bank somewhere."

"That's good." Allelujah smiled, even if Lockon couldn't see it too much from the position he was in. He could still tell it in his voice though, so he'd make sure to never forget.

"So this is your hometown, huh...?"

Allelujah adjusted his scarf a little, staring at the town a small distance from him. Being at the highest point of a set of hilltops, the spot gave them a good vantage point. They had arrived in town the day previous, but it looked so difference from their viewpoint and covered in snow. Even more beautiful, as it were.

"Awesome place, huh? We used to play on these hills when we were younger," he heard Lockon speak from not too far away. "Every time when it snowed, we'd run out of the house whether we had school that day or not and come here."

The younger Meister smiled at the thought, trying to imagine a younger Lockon and his siblings running around the area, laughing, playing, throwing snowballs—

Wham.

"What—Lockon!" he cried out as he was hit nearly square in the face with one of said objects. Allelujah sputtered, trying to wipe the snow from his mouth and out of his eyes, but before his vision could even clear, he felt himself being tackled to the floor.

It wasn't clear if Lockon had intended it or not, but the two of them didn't stop moving when they hit the ground; the incline caused them to roll downwards, Allelujah instinctively clinging on tight as his head spun right along with them, even as he heard the sound of Lockon's laughter. When they finally settled at the bottom of the hill, Allelujah was laying face-up in a good three or so inches of snow, the weight of the other man's body pressed against him.

"I win," Lockon teased as he leaned in a little. "And now I'll take my prize." He moved in closer, the puffs of breath from both of them visible in the frigid air, and Allelujah made a small sound as warm lips were pressed against his.

He didn't move—didn't want to, not with this. The brunette lingered for a little before pulling away with a wide smile. "And now," he said happily as he pushed himself to his feet, holding out a hand to Allelujah, "we go back to our room at the inn and curl up in front of the fireplace. Sound good to you?"

Allelujah stared at his hand, then back up into blue-green eyes, smiling down at him. And he remembered—and he smiled himself, grasping his hand tight. "Sounds good to me."
