Wanna Bet?
Jun. 29th, 2010 02:11 amTitle: Wanna Bet?
Fandom:
apurgatorium, Bleach
Pairing: Grimmjow/Kanan
Rating: PG-13
Notes: Written for Suu, I believe?
"I bet I can take that monster down now."
Grimmjow raised an eyebrow as he glanced over at the monster Kanan was pointing at. The pair was currently on the upper level, the arrancar training her how to take down tougher monsters (the ones on the lower level and the forest were pansies---well, these were too, but at least they provided a bit more of a challenge for a human).
"By yerself."
"Yep. Watch me."
"Like hell you can get a dent on that thing."
"Wanna bet?"
"What're we bettin'?"
Kanan tapped the rod she had been practicing with as her weapon on the ground below her, thinking it earlier. "How about... a kiss."
It was time for the arrancar's other eyebrow to be raised. "An' what the fuck would I want with a kiss from you?" he asked, even as his lips curved up into a grin. "You ain't even proven to me yer worth my time."
"And that's why that's the bet. First, when I win, you get the proof to shove up your arrogant ass and nothing to do about it. Second, if I lose, you get part of my precious dignity and have something to laugh at me about forever," she said matter-of-factly, still tapping her weapon against the ground. Grimmjow took a few moments to think it over, before figuring that hey, her funeral, and motioning over to the monster.
"Have fun~!"
Seven and a half seconds after Kanan leapt at the monster, about eighty pounds of said monster pinning her down, and eleven-inch long fangs about to bite into her body, a cero blast shot through the air and the creature's body. Watching Kanan struggling to get herself out from under the dead creature was an appetizer in itself, and a wide grin greeted the girl as she trudged her way back to Grimmjow.
"Not. A word. From you," she ground out, getting on her tiptoes. Her hand tangled into blue hair as she yanked him down roughly, giving him a none-too-gentle kiss. And damnit, she could feel him still grinning behind it, and chose to give his lips a sharp bite before detaching herself.
Kanan turned heel and marched off indignantly before Grimmjow could see her tomato-red face and have something else to laugh about, because it sure as hell sounded like she'd already be able to hear his laughter from the lower level.
