Title: Girlfriend
Fandom: Gundam 00
Pairing: Lyle/Allelujah
Rating: PG
Notes: Inspired by, yes, the Avril Lavigne song of the same name. Crack.
"Hey. You."
Allelujah stopped in his tracks, turning around to face the source of the voice. No one else was in the vicinity as far as he saw, so he figured he was the one being addressed. It took a moment to spot Lyle Dylandy—a man he was still getting used to the presence of—leaning against a wall and looking at him with a bit of a smirk. What could he possibly want, Allelujah wondered to himself.
"...yes? What is it?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. He stared as the older Meister pushed himself off the wall and strolled towards him, stopping just in front of him, apparently not caring about the concept of personal space. For a little while, there was silence, before Lyle prodded him in the forehead.
"I don't like your girlfriend," he said simply.
Girlfriend? Was he talking about Marie? "She's not..." Allelujah stammered, feeling a slight blush creep to his cheeks, the same that always did when this subject was brought up. "She's just...well..." Not that he even knew what to label it exactly. He'd never been good with identifying relationships.
Lyle sighed, shaking his head. "I think you need a new one."
"Wait, what? First of all, what's wrong with her? Second of all, what business is it of yours?" To be honest, it was a little annoying to have his personal life talked about like that. He was still trying to understand it himself, and this wasn't helping much. Neither was Lyle's sudden invasion of his personal space, which was making him feel more flustered than he had before—not that he wasn't about to put too much mind to that, of course.
The other male could only grin further at that, leaning in even closer. "I could be your girlfriend~" he teased, fully expecting the widening of eyes and annoyed yet embarrassed look that Allelujah proceeded to give him. He was shoved hard before the dual-colored eyed Meister stormed off with a 'hmph', and laughed to himself. This wasn't over, of course.

"It's pretty obvious you like me too, you know!"
The voice called out from the other end of the hallway, Allelujah glancing over to see a certain someone again. He bit his lip, turning away, trying to pretend that he wasn't there.
"You can do so much better. I think we should get toge--"
The door slid close before Lyle could continue, Allelujah ready to kick a wall on the other side. Joking or not, Lyle needed to stop this and he needed to stop this now, because it was putting ridiculous thoughts into this head.
Because strangely enough, they weren't leaving.

A good two weeks had passed, and it wasn't getting any better. Lyle was still giving him suggestive grins and winks when he could, and though he had been getting closer to the other Meister despite this sort of "harassment" as it was, it was still...distracting, to say the least. Both around him and otherwise, in fact—it was really getting ridiculous. Even when he was with Marie, every time she showed an affectionate gesture to him, his thoughts immediately strayed to Lyle and his teasing.
Damn that man. Why couldn't he stop thinking about it? And why was he the one popping up in his mind, doing whatever affectionate gesture it was instead? Some part of some...grand master plan, he assumed.
Allelujah figured that maybe a nap—and maybe even a glass of wine—would help settle his mind. Right. That was the plan. But as soon as he opened the door...well, speak of the devil.
"Allelujah~"
"...what are you doing in my room?" he responded, grumbling as the door slid closed behind him. "Why do you even know the code to..."
Before he could finish the sentence, he was swept up into an embrace, Lyle dipping him slightly in some kind of overdramatic mockery. The blush was back on his own face (why was he so easily embarrassed?), and he could only barely stammer back a few more words. "What are you—why are you—"
His words were effectively cut off with a pair of lips pressed against his own.
He himself wasn't pulling away.
Why wasn't he pulling away.

A week had passed by this point. He never heard the opening the door on the other side of the room; he was too preoccupied with Lyle's tongue all but stuck down his throat. Nor the female voice going "Allelujah...?!"
The Meister in question being quite very occupied at the moment, Haro took it upon himself to fill the silence, recalling something that Lyle had been listening to about a month previous.
"Hey, hey! You, you! I could be your girlfriend, I could be your girlfriend!"
